Sunday School sharing

I'm in HK right now. I want to write down something about sunday school last week before I forget. However, I can't type Chinese because I don't know how to use the input thing here.

Ok, here's what happened. All of us were supposed to share our testimonies during sunday school, and Eunice and I worried that there wouldn't be enough people willing to share their stories. Out of our expectations, brothers and sisters (mostly sisters, ha!) shared for the whole 45 min. They talked about how they believed in God, how God led them through difficulties, and what God has done in their lives. I was very impressed with everybody's sharing and I thanked God for this. One sister even prepared three pages for this session. I believe there isn't such a time usually for them to have this kind of sharing done in their church lives. It was valuable and encouraging. Whenever we hear other people's sharing we are confirmed again that God is at work. It was especially meaningful to listen to them to share because I knew that God is making changes in their lives.

Eunice mentioned that there isn't a lot of people are attending sunday school right now. She wanted to make it known to others that we will be studying the book of James soon. Of course it is good to have more brothers and sisters to come, but it is ultimately their choice and no one can force them. If people are still not willing to change given so many chances are there, what else can we do? I believe God showed His love for this church again and again waiting for His people to turn back to Him.
